Yara Huleihel

Yara Huleihel is a Palestinian Arab teen from Jerusalem who embodies the spirit of change-making, equality, and freedom. She has a passion for writing which she uses as an effective tool for expression and advocacy. Yara is a member in a Palestinian and Israeli peace writing group where she works closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds to amplify voices of harmony and understanding, and where all voices are heard and respected. In addition to her commitment to peace-building, she is a brilliant student who excels in all her studies. With her passion for justice and keen intellect, Yara envisions a better world, sees herself playing a meaningful role in shaping the future, and affecting significant change in her community and beyond.
