Yaacov Lozowick

Yaacov Lozowick is an historian by training who spent much of his career running archives, including the archives at Yad Vashem and Israel's National Archives. He has published academic as well as journalistic articles about archival science and modern Israeli history in five languages. He has authored two books: Right to Exist, a Moral Defense of Israel's Wars and Hitler's Bureaucrats, the Nazi Security Police and the Banality of Evil. Yaacov is currently running a large research project examining the history of Israel's settlement policy since 1967, which is based at NYU, and teaching at the Information Science Department of Bar Ilan University.
