Dr. Alex Sinclair

Dr. Alex Sinclair is a Jewish educational thinker, writer, practitioner, and program director. He is currently the Chief Academic Officer of Educating for Impact, an initiative funded by a consortium of European Jewish Philanthropies that seeks to upgrade the quality of Jewish education in day schools and communities across Europe. He was a member of faculty at the Davidson School of Education of the Jewish Theological Seminary for almost two decades, and has taught or run programs for the Hartman Institute, Hebrew Union College, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Jewish Agency, and the Schechter Institute. His book, Loving the Real Israel: An Educational Agenda for Liberal Zionism, was published in 2013.
